Job summary

Routes Healthcare (North) Limited is hiring a Care Coordinator for domiciliary care in Barnsley. The role involves coordinating visits, managing rotas, and ensuring care workers meet training and supervision requirements.

You’ll support the Registered Manager to maintain high-quality care and participate in the on-call rota roughly one week each month. The position is full-time, based at our Barnsley office with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience coordinating care and managing rotas in domiciliary care.
• Working understanding of CQC regulations.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• NVQ/Level 3 Health & Social Care is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Care Coordinator - Domiciliary Care - Barnsley

£25,000 basic salary

Plus on-call pay of up to £3300 per year (up to £28,300 a year in total)

£250 monthly bonus based on service performance

Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Based at our Barnsley office S71 1HT

The role

You'll coordinate care across Barnsley using People Planner. Day to day, you'll:

• Schedule and coordinate care visits.
• Adapt rotas around staff availability, new service users and changes to existing care runs.
• Make sure care workers attend meetings, supervisions and training within CQC-required timescales.
• Support your Registered Manager to deliver a high-quality service.
• Take part in the on-call rota, around 1 week a month

What we're looking for

• At least 12 months' experience coordinating care and managing rotas in domiciliary care.

• Strong organisation and communication skills, and the confidence to lead a team of care workers.
• A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
• An NVQ or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is a bonus, but not essential.
