Job summary

CTRG Limited in Aberdeen is seeking a Funeral Care Centre Assistant. You will support the care centre team by preparing coffins, handling floral tributes, and helping maintain a respectful environment.

You will drive (Full UK Manual Driving License required) and assist with vehicle cleaning, housekeeping, and reporting maintenance to the Care Logistics Management team. We offer flexible pay with the Stream app and staff discounts; we value discretion, empathy, and teamwork to ensure dignified

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving License required.
• Team player with ability to build professional relationships.
• Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills when required.

Responsibilities

• Clean funeral care vehicles daily, including polishing and waxing.
• Move ceremonial vehicles within the Care Centre grounds (no public roads).
• Assist with housekeeping in public and private areas; report maintenance needs.
• Fully prepare all types of coffins.
• Handle floral tributes with care.
• Report to Care Logistics Management and follow instructions.

• CleanFuneralcare vehicles on aday-to-daybasisincluding polish & wax routine
• Move ceremonial vehicles within the Care Centre grounds (no public road driving)
• Assistin general housekeepingin both public andprivate areas, report any buildingandequipment maintenance to amanager.
• FullyPrepareall types ofcoffins.
• Handle floral tributes with care.
• Reportingto the Care LogisticsManagement teamand responding appropriately to instructions.
• Ensuringyou fullycomply withall Health and safety requirements and checks.

• Working with other colleagues to promote teamwork to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Always maintaining a professional and dignified manner.
• Ensuring the use of appropriate equipment and approved manual handling techniques are complied with to eliminate the possibility of accident or injury.

• Full UK Manual Driving License Required
