CTRG Limited in Wigan, Lancashire is seeking a Funeral Care Centre Assistant to support dignified client farewells and assist with site operations. You will clean and polish vehicles, move ceremonial cars within the Care Centre grounds, prepare coffins, handle floral tributes and assist with housekeeping while reporting to the Care Logistics Management team.

The role requires a Full UK driving license, strong teamwork, discretion and empathy, basic IT and literacy skills, and the ability to lift

Qualificações

• Full UK driving license is required.
• Able to work as part of a supportive team.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.

Responsabilidades

• Clean company vehicles regularly including polish and wax.
• Move ceremonial vehicles within the Care Centre grounds (no public road driving).
• Assist in housekeeping in public and private areas and report maintenance.
• Fully prepare coffins.
• Handle floral tributes with care.
• Report to the Care Logistics Management team and follow instructions.
• Comply with health and safety requirements and checks.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a professional and dignified manner.
• Use equipment and manual handling techniques safely to prevent accidents.
• Demonstrate discretion and empathy in emotional circumstances.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a Funeral Care Centre Assistant in Wigan, Lancashire, WN5 8AX

Your pay rate and shifts as Funeral Care Centre Assistant:

As an advocate of the Funeralcare brand this role is critical in “Helping our clients say their best goodbye”

CleanFuneralcare vehicles on a day-to-day basis including polish & wax routine

Move ceremonial vehicles within the Care Centre grounds (no public road driving)

Assist in general housekeeping in both public and private areas, report any building and equipment maintenance to a manager.

Fully Prepare all types of coffins.

Handle floral tributes with care.

Reporting to the Care Logistics Management team and responding appropriately to instructions.

Ensuring you fully comply with all Health and safety requirements and checks.

Working with other colleagues to promote teamwork to ensure high standards of service delivery.

Always maintaining a professional and dignified manner.

Ensuring the use of appropriate equipment and approved manual handling techniques are complied with to eliminate the possibility of accident or injury.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Full UK Manual Driving License Required

Being a team player, building and maintaining professional relationships.

Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills utilising all available technology, when required.

Willingness to learn new skills and approach challenges.

Ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling from strained positions.

Required to always act with discretion and empathy.

The ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances
