Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking friendly Care Assistants to support elderly residents in independent living properties.

Role involves morning visits, personal care, meals, medication administration, mobility support, light housekeeping, and emotional care. DBS with update service is preferred; training in safeguarding and infection control is expected or can be arranged. Bank holidays and weekend premiums apply.

Responsabilités

• Morning and Scheduled Support: assist residents with personal care and morning routines.
• Meals and Meds: help with meals and safely administer medications; complete MAR charts.
• Mobility and Assistance: support mobility around the resident's flat.
• Light Housekeeping: perform basic domestic tasks to keep spaces safe.
• Emotional Support: provide a friendly, reassuring presence and companionship.

Are you looking for a role where you are allowed to sit and watch TV with the person you are looking after?

We are recruiting on behalf of a lovely independent living property that supports elderly residents who own or rent their own flats within the complex. They are looking for friendly, reliable agency Care Assistants to step in and handle scheduled morning and early afternoon visits. This is the perfect role if you want the flexibility of agency work combined with a structured, rewarding routine helping lovely residents maintain their independence.

What A Typical Day Looks Like:

• Morning and Scheduled Support: Making your rounds to help residents with their personal care and getting ready for the day.
• Meals and Meds: Helping with meal preparation and safely administering medication (plus filling out those all-important MAR charts).
• Mobility and Assistance: Lending a hand with mobility around their flat to keep them moving safely.
• Light Housekeeping: Helping with basic domestic duties and cleaning to keep their space cozy and safe.
• Emotional Support: Being a friendly, listening ear and making sure the residents feel safe, secure, and happy in their homes.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker.
• Someone who is reliable, punctual, and loves an early morning routine.
• A kind, respectful, and compassionate personality.
• Great communication skills and an eye for detail when it comes to paperwork.

For this role, it is essential that you have;

• At least months experience in a Care environment.
• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service is an advantage. If you don’t, don’t worry we can help if you have the facility to pay for one upfront at the cost of £49.50.
• All relevant mandatory training in Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control and ideally certificates to show for this or we can assist you to gain access to online training platforms.
• 2 years referenceable work experience
• The enthusiasm to make a difference to an individual’s life.

This role offers ongoing hours for the right candidate and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Shift Times are:

Days - 0600 to 1400

There are other shifts available on request, dependant on requirements.

The hourly rate starts at £12.71 to £16.90 depending on shift. Premium rates are paid for bank holidays and weekends.
