Job summary

Home Instead in Folkestone is seeking caring individuals to support older adults with personal care, mobility and daily tasks. You will help with meals, home safety and companionship, enabling clients to feel safe, comfortable and valued. Training is provided, and no prior care experience is required.

Shift patterns include early mornings and evenings, with weekends on rotation. Right to work in the UK, a valid driving licence and a car are required, plus clear English and good communication

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Assist with meals and light domestic tasks (tidy and safe home).
• Offer companionship, conversation and social engagement to clients.

At Home Instead, we give you the time to make a difference. Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters - helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.

You'll be supporting older adults with things like:

• Personal care and mobility
• Making a meal or a comforting cuppa
• Keeping their home tidy and safe
• Sharing stories, laughter and companionship
• Supporting with some health tasks - e.g. catheter care, stoma care, nail care (training provided)

No previous care experience? No problem - we'll train, support and cheer you on from day one.

The morning shift will be: 07:00-14:00 and the evening shift is 16:00-21:00 all of our Care Professionals work alternate Weekends.
