Job summary

Home Instead is recruiting Care Assistants to provide non-medical care and companionship in the Rochester area. You will visit clients for at least one hour, build trusted relationships and deliver person-centred support with dignity.

We offer guaranteed hours contracts across Gillingham, Rainham, Chatham and Rochester, paid mileage, holiday pay and industry-leading training. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Driving License.
• Must have access to a car.
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and social interaction during 1-hour visits.
• Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
