Job summary

Home Instead in Faversham is looking for Care Assistants to provide non-medical care and companionship services to older people. The role requires a full driving license and access to a vehicle, as you will assist clients with daily tasks and appointments.

This position offers excellent pay rates of £13.25 on weekdays and £14 on weekends, along with award-winning training and a range of employee benefits, including 20 days of holiday a year plus bank holidays on a pro-rata basis.

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

For this role, having a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for visiting our clients and assisting them in getting out and about in our community.

Full Training will be Provided
