Job summary

Home Instead in Folkestone is seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across Folkestone and Hythe. Visits are at least an hour long to provide companionship and personal support, helping clients live safely and with dignity.

No prior care experience? We’ll train, support and cheer you on from day one. Guaranteed Hours contracts (10–25/wk), fully paid training and career progression are offered. You’ll need a driving licence and access to a car, plus clear English.

Qualifications

• Clear English and good communication skills.
• Full Driving Licence and access to a car.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Prepare meals or offer a comforting drink.
• Keep the client’s home tidy and safe.

Job Description

At Home Instead, we give you the time to make a difference. Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters — helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.

You’ll be supporting older adults with things like:

Personal care and mobility

Making ameal or a comforting cuppa

Keeping their home tidy and safe

Sharing stories, laughter and companionship

Supporting with some health tasks — e.g.catheter care, stoma care, nail care(training provided)

No previous care experience? No problem — we’ll train, support and cheer you on from day one.
