Helping Hands in the United Kingdom is hiring a Care Assistant to make a real difference in clients' lives at home. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help with personal care while supporting independence and safety.

No prior care experience is required; training and ongoing support are provided. You will join a friendly, purpose-driven team that values reliability, kindness and a people-first approach to care.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
