Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant in Taunton to support clients at home with kindness and professionalism. You will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, and help people stay independent and safe in their own homes.

No prior care experience is required as we offer full training and ongoing support. We offer flexible shifts, paid mileage at 35p per mile, and benefits including holiday, pension, and access to training qualifications.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and a full UK driving licence are beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care tasks such as washing, bathing and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and help customers stay safe and independent.
• Oversee and administer medications in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks like cleaning, cooking, and meal prep.
• Run essential errands and offer respectful, compassionate support.
