Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring Care Assistants to provide compassionate, in-home support for clients. You will help with daily activities, personal care, mobility and safety while building trusting relationships with residents.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, with paid mileage and flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from shopping to collecting prescriptions.
