Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring Care Assistants to provide compassionate support in clients' homes. No prior care experience required as full training is provided, with a focus on kindness and reliability to help people live independently and safely.

You will assist with daily tasks, support personal care, and help with mobility, medication administration, and household chores, while undergoing funded training and enjoying career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

• Reliability, compassion and the ability to support others with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Support mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
