Job summary

Quantum Care’s Dukeminster Court in Dunstable is seeking a Care Assistant to join our modern, purpose-built 75-bed home. You’ll provide compassionate, person-centred care and support residents with respect to maintain independence.

We offer 30–35 hours per week, shift times from 7.30am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9.30pm, and pay £12.96 per hour on weekdays and £13.96 per hour on weekends, with training, DBS, pension and staff discounts.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
• Assisting residents with daily activities promoting independence
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families and colleagues
• Follow individual personalised care plans
• Working as a part of a team to deliver high quality of person-centred care
