A care recruitment agency in Matlock is urgently seeking Care Assistants to support elderly residents with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs. Positions offer immediate starts with flexible part-time or full-time hours. Pay is starting at £12.21 per hour, increasing to £13.33 after a trial period. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and up-to-date training certificates.

Qualifications

  • 3 months experience within a similar care environment.
  • Checkable work history.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding, Handling, Infection Control).
  • In-date enhanced DBS check.

  • General housekeeping, following health and safety regulations.

Overview

Immediate starts available for Care Assistants in Matlock. The residents we work with are usually elderly and suffer with age-related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Care Assistant will support residents’ mobility, hygiene and nutritional requirements and ensure their psychological and physical wellbeing is tended to.

Responsibilities
  • Support residents’ mobility, hygiene and nutritional requirements.
  • Ensure residents’ psychological and physical wellbeing is tended to.
  • General housekeeping, following health and safety regulations.
  • Report condition updates and incidents to senior staff.
Qualifications
  • 3 months experience within a similar care environment.
  • Checkable work history.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates we can offer online training.
  • In-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired we can arrange a new one.

  • We do not offer sponsorships.
  • This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work, part-time or full-time hours.
  • Working hours: 14:00 to 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Pay: £12.21 per hour (rising to £13.33 after the trial period). £16.24 per hour for hours worked from 19:00 to 22:00.
