Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Taunton to support clients in their own homes. You’ll help with daily routines, personal care, meals, and companionship, delivering care with dignity and compassion. Training is provided, and you’ll join a welcoming, dedicated team.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, a flexible approach to weekends, and a commitment to safeguarding and quality care. Agincare has a long-standing presence in the UK, offering guaranteed development and support.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Must have the right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel to clients.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care for clients at home.
• Assist with shopping, meals and companionship to brighten their day.
• Provide a friendly, respectful and supportive presence for clients.
• Assist with medications as needed under supervision.

The Role of a Home Carer

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you

Above all, were looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You dont need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest. Youll bring:
