Job summary

Bluebird Care Cheshire Trafford is seeking caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our expert team delivering high-quality home care across the area.

You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housework, medication support, and companionship, with full induction and ongoing training.

We offer flexible shifts, expert training, DBS clearance, a generous refer-a-friend scheme, and long service awards, plus a supportive, 24/7 team.

Qualifications

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
• Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs.
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning.
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for.
• Full induction and ongoing expert training.
• Uniform and PPE provided.
• Regular support and ongoing career development.
