Job summary

Watford House Care Home in High Peak is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans and help residents feel comfortable, respected and valued.

This role is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided. The successful candidate will work alternate weekends, joining a warm, supportive team committed to high-quality, person-centred

Qualifications

• Caring, respectful approach required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude expected.
• Willingness to learn and develop further.
• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Support emotional wellbeing and maintain dignity and comfort.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team and participate in ongoing training.
