Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is recruiting a Care Assistant for Lambrook Court in Bath, Somerset. The role covers housekeeping and resident support within a Retirement Living Plus development, with varied duties and hours totaling 20 per week. The pay rate starts at £13.70 per hour, with up to £1.30 extra for evening and weekend shifts.

You will help residents with appointments, transport, activities and shopping, delivering compassionate, customer‑focused care as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or support environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality personal and domestic care to residents.
• Assist with housekeeping, apartment cleans and wellbeing activities.
• Help residents book appointments, arrange transport and accompany visits.
• Support shopping and everyday tasks to enable independent living.
