Job summary

McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at Lady Susan Court in Basingstoke, Hampshire. You will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents, assist with housekeeping, and support wellbeing through activities and social interaction.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.26, with potential earnings of up to £1.30 extra for evenings and weekend hours, and 24 hours per week. Experience in care and a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support environment preferred.
• Deliver high-quality care and wellbeing for residents.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal and domestic support to residents.
• Assist with housekeeping and apartment cleans.
• Support residents with activities, appointments, transport and shopping.
