Greensleeves Care is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate support to residents across our homes. You will help with daily living, personal care, and mobility while upholding rights to independence, dignity and choice.

We value confidentiality, compassion and teamwork, with opportunities for free learning, DBS checks, and a supportive benefits package. This role is UK-based and site-based.

Formación

• An understanding of the needs of residents
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience of providing care (Desirable)

Responsabilidades

• Give support and care to residents while maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, bathe and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including aids and equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene such as incontinence.
• Promote Greensleeves Care values: respect, openness and responsibility.

As a Care Assistant, you will:

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

• An understanding of the needs of residents
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable)
• Experience of providing care (Desirable)
