Job summary

Greensleeves Care is recruiting a dedicated Care Assistant (Nights) to support residents across our care homes in England. You will help with night-time routines, assist with mobility, personal care and maintaining residents' rights to independence, privacy and dignity.

You will work within a team that values respect, openness and responsibility, ensuring compassionate, person-centred care at all times. Experience of working with elders is desirable, as is a QCF Level 2 in care.

Qualifications

• An understanding of the needs of residents.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience of providing care is desirable.
• Experience of working with elders is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy and dignity and choice
• Assist with preparing residents for bed and/or assist them in the morning.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
