Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Days and Nights) to support residents in our 26 England-based homes. You will help with daily living, mobility, hygiene and personal care while upholding residents’ rights to privacy and dignity.

The role emphasizes confidentiality and compassionate, respectful care in a supportive team. The successful candidate will have a relevant care qualification (Desirable) and experience with elder care, with opportunities for free learning and

• An understanding of the needs of residents.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• QCF diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable).
• Experience of providing care (Desirable).
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
