Job summary

Unique Senior Care is recruiting Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Coventry. Competitive hourly pay and mileage paid, with part-time and full-time hours available and contracted up to 30 hours per week.

Role includes personal care, medications, companionship, meal preparation, mobility support, and light housekeeping. A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car are preferred, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends and holidays).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Previous care work or home care is desirable but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely as directed.
• Provide companionship and support wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Support mobility (transfers to chairs/wheelchairs).
• Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
