Job summary

Unique Senior Care is recruiting Care Assistants to support people in their own homes. Roles include part-time and full-time care with contracted hours up to 30 hours per week and a typical pay rate of £14.60 per hour, with enhanced weekend and bank holiday rates. Mileage is paid, and a pension scheme is available.

We provide full training, support from a dedicated management team, and opportunities for progression alongside flexible hours to suit your availability.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence, access to a car, and business insurance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Previous care experience desirable but not essential – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
• Administer medications safely as per guidance.
• Provide companionship and encourage wellbeing.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding and dietary needs.
• Support with mobility (transfers to chairs/wheelchairs).
• Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment.
• Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
