Job summary

Care Concern Group is looking for a dedicated Care Assistant for Godden Lodge Care Home in Benfleet. The role covers days and nights on a contracted 33-hour week, delivering person-centred residential, nursing and dementia care with a focus on dignity and wellbeing.

You will support residents with daily living, follow care plans, and contribute to a calm, respectful environment. Full training and development are provided, with opportunities for career progression within the group.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Support residents to maintain dignity, independence and well-being.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to deliver safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment.
• Participate in training and development opportunities offered by the home.
