Job summary

Aurem Care is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents in maintaining dignity, independence and quality of life. You will provide personal care, emotional support, and engage residents in activities, aiming to create a warm, respectful environment.

You will work with a dedicated care team, receiving full training, ongoing support, and opportunities for progression, with flexible hours and a focus on resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Full training and ongoing support provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain residents' dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
• Build positive relationships and create meaningful experiences for residents.
• Support residents with daily activities and individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records using Nourish electronic care planning system.
• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
• Demonstrate kindness, compassion and professionalism in all tasks.
• Undertake additional duties to ensure smooth delivery of care services.
