Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant - Driver with Own Vehicle to visit clients in their homes across Holmfirth and surrounding areas. You will deliver person‑centred care and support with daily living tasks, while travelling between visits during your shift.

We offer full‑time or part‑time hours, with shift patterns across weekdays and weekends. Mileage is paid at 30p per mile. A valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are essential; training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work.
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent care.
• Desirable: at least 3 months paid care experience in the UK.

Pay Rate: £12.71- £14.24 ( Including holiday pay) per hour + 30p per mile

About The Role

This is a homecare position - you'll be travelling to clients' homes throughout the day to provide person-centered care and support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Visiting vulnerable and palliative clients in their own homes
• Providing personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with medication management
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Working solo or as part of a 2-person team depending on client needs
• Supporting clients with a variety of different care requirements
• Travelling between client visits throughout your shift
