Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant - Driver with Own Vehicle to visit clients’ homes across Kirklees, including Dewsbury, Batley, Cleckheaton and surrounding areas. You will provide person-centred care, support with medications, meals and mobility, and travel between visits in your own vehicle.

Full-time or part-time shifts are available. You must have the right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence with access to a car.

Location: kirklees North - Dewsbury, Batley, Cleckheaton and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay) + 30p per mile

About The Role

This is a homecare position - you'll be travelling to clients' homes throughout the day to provide person-centered care and support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Visiting vulnerable and palliative clients in their own homes
• Providing personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with medication management
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Working solo or as part of a 2-person team depending on client needs
• Supporting clients with a variety of different care requirements
• Travelling between client visits throughout your shift
