Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant – Driver with Own Vehicle to travel across Barnsley and surrounding areas, delivering person-centred homecare to clients in their own homes.

You'll provide personal care, help with medication and meals, and travel between visits with a rota that suits you. The role offers full-time or part-time hours, a competitive pay rate of £15.37 per hour (inc holiday pay), plus 30p per mile and a £500 signing-on bonus after 120 hours.

Qualifications

• The right to work in the UK without needing employer support.
• A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work.
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent care.
• At least 3 months paid care experience in the UK.

Location: Covering the S71 and surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £15.37 per hour (including holiday pay) + 30p per mile

About The Role

This is a homecare position — you'll be travelling to clients' homes throughout the day to provide person-centred care and support.
