Job summary

Bluebird Care Harrogate is looking for a caring, dedicated Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. You’ll provide high-quality daily living support, working independently or with a team, while promoting comfort and dignity for each person.

We offer flexible shifts including full-time and fixed-hour part-time roles, school-hours options, and weekend opportunities. Full induction, expert training, PPE, and career development are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Kind, compassionate approach and calm manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Support with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Assist with medications and safe disposal of prescriptions.
• Carry out light housework and laundry.
• Be a dependable, friendly presence for clients.
• Follow care plans and report changes to supervisors.
• Provide training and ongoing support as needed.
• Wear uniform and PPE as provided.

• Salary details: £14.00 - £18.90 per hour

Join us as a Care Assistant at Bluebird Care Harrogate.

We offer a wide range of flexible shift patterns to fit around your life, including full-time and Fixed Hour part-time roles. Choose school hours shifts between 7:30am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, or take advantage of our weekend opportunities, with shifts available between 7:00am and 10:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

• Previous healthcare assistant experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided
