Job summary

Bluebird Care Sheffield is looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes with high-quality, compassionate care. You will work as part of a team or independently, providing personal care, meal prep, medication support, and light housework.

You’ll join a supportive team with full induction and ongoing training, and a focus on dignity for customers. Flexible shifts, uniform and PPE provided, and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication and safe disposal of medications.
• Carry out light housework like tidying and laundry.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for all customers.
