Home Instead is recruiting Care Assistants to support clients in Thornbury, Yate and Dursley with guaranteed 30 hours per week. Shifts run 8am–1pm and 5pm–9:45pm across four days, with alternate weekends.

You’ll help clients stay independent at home and build lasting relationships with families. We offer £13.15 per hour, bank holiday double pay, paid training, and a clear career path including the Care Certificate and pension/holiday benefits.

Job Description

*Guaranteed hours contract of 30 hours per week*

Working hours: 8am - 1pm & 5pm - 9:45pm 4 days per week, plus an alternate weekend.

We are looking for new Care Assistant's to join our team and support our ever-growing client base with their day-to-day lives and to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.

As a Care Assistant with us, we do things differently and believe in lasting relationships. You will support the same clients regularly and with visits a minimum of 1 hour, you have plenty of time and no need to rush!

Covering our core times, you will support with getting our clients up and ready for their day, breakfast & medication, personal care needs, home help tasks, meal preparation and the end of day teatime and bedtime routines.

Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired.
