Job summary

Home Instead has arrived in Thornbury, Yate and Dursley — and we couldn’t be more excited to bring our trusted home care to your community. We’re looking for compassionate, reliable Care Assistants to support our growing client base across Wotton-under-Edge, Thornbury, Dursley and surrounding areas.

Join a team where visits are always at least one hour long to provide truly personal, quality care. A full driving licence is desired; 18+ yrs old; mornings preferred but other shifts considered.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to provide outstanding care and support with willingness to learn and reliability.
• Aged 18 or over.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and helping with daily routines
• Assisting with medication and personal care
• Supporting clients living with conditions such as dementia or those recovering from a stroke
• Assisting with clinical needs, such as changing compression stockings or supporting with catheter care

We have immediate need across our territory which covers Thornbury and Yate, so if you're located nearby that would be ideal, and we also cover Dursley and everywhere in-between.

Job Description

We are looking for bubbly, chatty caring people to join our team of Care Assistant's to support our growing client base across Wotton-under-Edge, Thornbury, Dursley and all the surrounding areas.

Ideally, we would be looking for Care Assistant's who can work mornings due to our current client needs, but we are open to other availability.

As a Care Assistant with us, every day is different, but your role will include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
