Job summary

Home Instead in Thornbury, Yate and Dursley is looking for Evening Care Assistants to support clients across Dursley, Berkeley, Thornbury, Almondsbury and surrounding villages. The shift runs from 5pm to 9:45pm on weekdays with occasional weekend needs.

No experience is required as full training is provided through our Brand New Care Skills Academy. You will assist with evening routines, meals, medication support, personal care and companionship, building lasting relationships with clients and

Job Description

We are looking for caring and compassionate people to join our amazing team as an Evening Care Assistant to support our growing client base across Dursley, Berkeley, Thornbury, Almondsbury & Yate and all the villages in between.
Ideally, we would be looking for Evening Care Assistant's who can work 5pm - 9:45pm due to our current client needs.

As an Evening Care Assistant with us, you will predominately support clients with their end of day teatime and bedtime routines. This will typically include (but not be limited to), meal preparation and ensuring your client has had a hot meal, support with medication & personal care, general home help tasks and providing companionship.

As an Evening Care Assistant with us, we can offer you:

• £13per hour during the week and£13.65per hour on a weekend

Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired.

We also require an alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday).
