Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to support people in their own homes across Newbury and Marlborough. No prior care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, and you'll make a real difference through kindness and reliability.

You'll work a guaranteed hours contract with flexible shifts, driving is required, and you’ll receive paid mileage, holiday, pension, and access to training and career development.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Kind, adaptable, people-first mindset.
• Willingness to learn and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and safety to help customers stay independent and confident.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, respectful support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
