Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to provide warm, in-home support, helping customers live well and stay independent in their own homes. No prior care experience needed as full training is provided, with a focus on kindness, reliability and a can-do attitude.

You'll work with a supportive team, receive ongoing development, and benefit from flexible shifts, mileage allowance, and a pension and holiday entitlement as part of your role.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
