Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to provide warm companionship in clients' homes, supporting daily living and independence. No previous care experience is required as full training is provided, with a focus on kindness and reliability.

You'll help with personal care, mobility, light household duties, medications per care plans, and errands. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred, and you can expect flexible shifts and training support.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
