Home Instead is seeking a Care Assistant to build meaningful relationships with regular clients and provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' own homes across Pewsey, Marlborough, and Devizes.

Your daily responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation and medication assistance, companionship, and support with outings and appointments. We offer flexible schedules with an average of 30 hours per week, alternating weekends with a day off in lieu.

• Previous care experience is preferred, but full training is provided for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will build meaningful relationships with regular clients and provide high-quality, person-centred care to support them in their own homes.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Companionship, conversation, and reassurance

Support with outings, appointments, and pet care

Working With Us

We offer flexible schedule options to suit your availability (average 30 hours per week, alternating weekends with a day off in lieu):

Full-Time Availability: Flexible across split shifts between 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Part-Time Morning Availability: Shifts between 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Part-Time EveningAvailability: Shifts between 16:00 PM - 22:00 PM

Paid client introductions are provided so you feel confident, supported, and familiar with your clients from day one.

What We Offer

Travel Pay: Paid travel time, paid waiting time, plus 45p per mile mileage allowance

Pension: Company pension scheme

Development: Full training provided to achieve your Care Certificate and beyond

Support: Ongoing support from a welcoming, local team

Requirements

Driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (recommended depending on local routes)

Previous care experience is preferred, but full training is provided for the right candidate
