Job summary

Home Instead is seeking a Morning Care Assistant to help our clients start their day with confidence and comfort in their own homes across Pewsey, Marlborough and Devizes.

You will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care, build meaningful relationships with regular clients, and support morning routines, meals and appointments. Part‑time hours run 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with alternate weekends and pro‑rated holiday entitlement.

• Must have compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach.
• Availability to work morning shifts starting from 7:00 AM, including alternate weekends.
• Access to reliable transport to travel between client homes across Pewsey, Marlborough and Devizes.
• No prior experience required – full training and ongoing mentorship provided.

About the Role

As a Morning Care Assistant, you will help our clients start their day with confidence and comfort. You'll build meaningful, lasting relationships with regular clients and deliver high-quality, person-centred care in their homes.

Your morning responsibilities will include

• Assisting with morning routines and personal care
• Preparing nutritious breakfasts and assisting with medication
• Providing companionship, warm conversation, and reassurance
• Supporting clients with morning appointments, errands, or pet care

Working With Us

• Hours: Part-time morning shifts available between 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Pattern: Alternate weekends required (with a mid-week day off in lieu)
• Confidence from Day One: Paid client introductions are provided so you feel fully supported and familiar with your regular clients before starting independent visits.

What We Offer

• Competitive Pay: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour
• Travel Benefits: Paid travel time, paid waiting time, plus a 45p per mile allowance

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural nature of our client base)

• Right to work in the UK

An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
