Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caring individuals to join our local Home Instead team covering Pewsey, Marlborough and Devizes. As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care in clients' own homes, including daily living tasks, meals, companionship, and outings support.

Full training is provided to achieve the Care Certificate and beyond; a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred due to rural routes.

• Previous care experience preferred, but full training is provided

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will build meaningful relationships with regular clients and provide high-quality, person-centred care to support them in their own homes.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Personal care and daily support

Meal preparation and medication assistance

Companionship, conversation, and reassurance

Support with outings, appointments, and pet care

Working With Us

We offer flexible schedule options to suit your availability (average 30 hours per week, alternating weekends with a day off in lieu):

Full-Time Availability: Flexible across split shifts between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Part-Time Morning Availability: Shifts between 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Paid client introductions are provided so you feel confident, supported, and familiar with your clients from day one.

What We Offer

Travel Pay: Paid travel time, paid waiting time, plus 45p per mile mileage allowance

Development: Full training provided to achieve your Care Certificate and beyond

Requirements
