We are recruiting for both part-time and full-time permanent positions. You should be prepared to work a minimum of one evening and alternate weekends as part of your shift pattern. This is secure work with good pay, excellent training, and no previous experience necessary.
Extra Care units provide residents with their own self-contained living spaces within a larger building, with access to care staff based within the unit who provide care tailored to each resident's needs. As a care assistant, you will support residents with varying needs to live as independently as possible, following personalized care and support plans.
Every client’s needs are different. Your tasks may include assisting with housework, helping with morning routines, preparing meals, providing companionship, assisting with medication, or helping residents with washing and dressing. More than just care, our carers become friends, offering human company, encouragement, and sometimes a laugh or two, especially when life is tough. While caring can be challenging, your support will be deeply appreciated by residents and their families.
