Quantum Care is recruiting a Care Assistant for Oakmoor Lodge in Bushey. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with weekday (£13.61) and weekend (£14.61) pay, and shifts from 7.30am–2.30pm or 2.30pm–9.30pm.

The state-of-the-art 72-bed home provides residential, dementia and respite care, in a welcoming environment near Bushey town. You will deliver compassionate, person-centred care, maintaining residents’ independence and dignity, and working as part of a dedicated team with induction

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring attitude with a positive approach.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with residents.
• Willingness to be trained and develop in a care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing and feeding support.
• Assist residents with daily activities to promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow individual care plans and maintain dignity and respect.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
