Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Totton/Southampton to support clients in their own homes with daily routines and personal care. This role is female-only as allowed by the Equality Act for safeguarding privacy.

The position offers flexible part-time hours, mileage paid, and opportunities for funded training up to QCF level 5. A UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• No prior care experience required; right attitude and caring nature is enough.
• Female-only role due to Genuine Occupational Requirement under Equality Act.

The Role of a Home Carer:

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication

About you:

You’ll bring:

• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
