Job summary

Bluebird Care Cardiff and the Vale is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team as a Driver, delivering high-quality in-home care across Cardiff South & Cardiff North.

You'll provide personal care, companionship, help with meals, shopping, and household tasks, while supporting with medication management and promoting independence for customers in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Live in the local area and able to work alternate weekends.
• Commit to at least one evening shift per week.
• Great communication and relationship-building skills.

Competitive Pay

• £13.45 per hour
• £16.00 Per Hour Bank Holidays
• £20.00 per hour Christmas day, Boxing Day and New years day
• 35p mileage allowance

Requirements

• A Full UK driving licence and access to a car
• To be living in the local area
• The ability to work alternate weekends
• To commit to working a minimum of one evening shift per week
• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Ability to follow care plans
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training will be provided.
• ABI experience is also desirable, but not essential.
