Job summary

Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our expert team delivering in-home support. You will help with daily living activities, provide companionship, and promote independence in customers’ own homes.

We offer paid training (£12.75ph), paid shadowing (£15.00ph), and double pay on bank holidays. Guaranteed hours and extensive office support accompany a rewarding role.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship or visa transfer.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep, nutrition, and meal planning.
• Support with medication and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework and hygiene tasks.
• Be a dependable, friendly, familiar face for customers.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
