Job summary

Bluebird Care Bath & NE Somerset is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant (Driver) to provide high-quality home care across Bath and surrounding areas. You will work with clients in their own homes, travel between locations, and support with personal care, meals and daily tasks.

We offer paid induction, flexible shifts, guaranteed hours where available, and ongoing training. A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Full UK Driver's Licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Compassionate and calm approach to care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.

As a Care Professional, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
