Job summary

Bluebird Care Rushcliffe & Melton is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our expert team and help us set the standard. You will support customers in their own homes, performing personal care and daily living tasks, either independently or with a supportive team.

We offer part-time shifts (16–30 hours/week) with pay from £15.00 to £15.50 per hour, increasing on bank holidays. Ongoing training, DBS check paid for, and various employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.

• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying and laundry.
• Be a dependable friendly face for customers.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning
• Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for
• An excellent rate of £15.00 - £15.50ph increasing to £30.00 - £31.00ph on bank holidays.
• Part-time hours 16-30 per week

Requirements
