Job summary

Springcare Ltd is seeking caring individuals to join the team in Newton-le-Willows. As a Care Assistant you will provide 24-hour care, including day and night shifts, helping residents with daily activities and personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.

You’ll work within a supportive team and benefit from on-going training and access to a pension scheme. Successful applicants will need two references, a DBS check, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

Not only do our care team provide nursing care to our residents, they also help to make our residents lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.

About the role:

Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.
• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
• supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.

Typical Shift patterns for Night Contracts

• 8pm until 8am
