Job summary

Springcare are looking for caring individuals to join our team as a Care Assistant across our Newthorpe location. You will support residents with daily living tasks, provide companionship and ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect.

Key duties include assisting with washing and dressing, helping with feeding, supporting wellbeing through activities, and maintaining clean shared spaces. We welcome compassionate, patient people with good communication skills and basic computer/device

Qualifications

Not only do our care team provide nursing care to our residents, they also help to make our residents lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.

About the role:

Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.
• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
• supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.

Typical Shift patterns for Night Contracts

• 8pm until 8am
