Role Overview:

The Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting residents with dignity, respect, and engagement. You will help ensure residents participate in meaningful activities and receive personalized support.

Main Duties:

• Support residents to remain as independent as possible, including assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
• Be understanding and patient, encouraging participation in leisure activities suited to individual preferences, including supporting outside appointments and outings.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment by making beds, tidying rooms, and undertaking light cleaning duties.
• Assist in serving meals and drinks, ensuring presentation and support are appropriate and courteous.
• Comply with all statutory and legal requirements, including health & safety, COSHH, Care Standards Act, and infection control policies.
